We support smallholder farmers with free, high-value seedlings, particularly in dryland regions, to improve livelihoods and promote reforestation.
BGF Foundation
As of 1st January 2025, Better Globe Forestry (BGF) transitioned from a funded structure to a fully commercial company. While this shift enables us to grow and scale our forestry operations more efficiently, our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) remains unchanged. To maintain full transparency and to clearly distinguish between our commercial activities and our CSR efforts, the Better Globe Forestry Foundation (BGFF) has now been fully activated.
BGFF was officially registered with the NGO Coordination Board of Kenya on 15th February 2016. It is governed by an interim management team and operates independently, while remaining closely aligned with the vision and values of BGF. The foundation is now entering a new phase of activity, one that will not only enhance BGF’s impact on communities and the environment but also ensure proper governance, accountability, and trust among our stakeholders
Project
The BGF Foundation (BGFF) is an independently registered non-profit organization that serves as the CSR implementation partner of Better Globe Forestry Ltd. (BGF). While aligned in vision, BGFF operates separately and maintains full independence in governance, decision-making, and financial management.
Whenever BGF engages BGFF for its corporate social responsibility projects, all transactions occur at arm’s length, ensuring full transparency, accountability, and compliance with ethical standards and NGO regulations.
Through these programs, BGFF contributes meaningfully to the eradication of poverty, the restoration of degraded landscapes, and the enhancement of livelihoods, independently and impactfully.
Our Commitment
At BGFF, we believe that sustainable forestry must go hand in hand with social responsibility. Our commitment is to:
Empower rural communities through practical support and lasting opportunities.
Operate transparently, with clear separation from commercial interests.
Uphold environmental stewardship while promoting self-reliance and long-term impact.
We are driven by a shared vision: to create a greener, more equitable future for Africa, one community at a time.
